Dániel Varró: Beyond the Maszat Hill [Túl a Maszat hegyen]

This performance was played in a traditional theatre building. With the director, our plan was to use the whole theatre space: as well as the auditorium, the stage and the backstage too. We planned to move spectators from the auditorium to the backstage during the story: the two main actors were followed beyond the 'Maszat Hill' (to the backstage) by the spectators, and after that, the actors realised in fact, they were imprisoned there, we closed the safety curtain behind all of them. It sounds simple but this was a great challenge for the designer because all of the spectators were around 8-10 years old...
