I'm a professional scenography designer, and I'm dealing with stage- and costume design.
But...what is actually scenography?
There is no explicit answer to this question. Every plan faces me to reconsider this issue over and over again.
I have been continuously researching the edges of scenography, and the question of how could I expand its frames.
I'm keen on design situations that go beyond the spaces of the traditional, proscenium theatre or leave its frames. I like the theatre design challenges where it is possible to think about what kind of space design is the best for performance, that the play reaches the comfort zone of the spectators, gently ruffle their senses and emotionally address them.
I really like to deal with the history and the story of the space and stories of the community that appears in there: how to give body to the words and the fates of human which are contained in them. I also dealt with this in my doctoral thesis, if you are interested in the results of the research, I recommend the masterpiece documentation and the dissertation in the "Doctoral Thesis and Masterpiece" section of the website.
