"The juvenile prostitutes are not prostituted and forced, they become prostitutes on their voluntary basis."
(Minister of the Interior of Hungary, December 2010.)
After this statement the director, Márta Schermann began to deal with the topic of the juvenile prostitutes.
Who will become a prostitute? Mostly from those hopeless, neglected, love-hungry and influential girls who stand up to the road, the street, the shop window, etc., in the hope of better livelihood, an assumed love or even forced and drug effect. It is no wonder that the overwhelming majority of prostitutes under the age of 18 come from the orphanages and the daughters of prostitutes.
The performance shows from a prostitute's perspective this vicious circle and of how "inherited" from generation to generation is this infinitely vulnerable way of life.
Before the performance, Márta Schermann and her colleagues held a workshop for girls whose living in this children's home for young people with special needs for a year, and the girls also took part in the performance.
